February is a month of ups and downs for me, from my Dad’s birthday on the 3rd, to Valentine’s Day (and my sister’s passing), my birthday on the 16th, my anniversary on the 17th, and Dad’s passing on the 22nd, my emotions are on a roller coaster.
I turned 61 this year.
But the hardest is indeed my anniversary - it would have been 17 years married and a total 28 years together!
When Mike was alive, we would go to a casino to celebrate Valentine’s Day and my birthday. When we got married, Mike suggested we get married the day after my birthday. So, we added our anniversary to our celebration list.
To keep the celebration tradition alive, this year, on Feb. 28th, I went to the Graton Casino with family to celebrate. A few days late, but still a gambling celebration.
