This is a photo of Mom & Dad’s Wedding Cake. They got married in Reno and then a reception of sorts when they got back home. They loved each other deeply, and it showed. My Dad worshipped my Mom, and she him.


They were the exact opposite of each other. Mom loud and Dad quiet - Mom tall and Dad short – Mom wouldn’t know a screwdriver from a wrench and Dad would figure out how to fix or built anything.


A couple of years after my Dad passed, Mom was asked if she would find someone again. Mom made this statement “When you had the best, you don’t want the rest”.
