JOURNALING: The Heritage Rail Trail is a 6.1-mile multi-purpose trail converted from abandoned right-of-way, with a parallel, 4-mile, bridle trail. The paved trail, suitable for biking, hiking, inline skating and cross country skiing, starts in Old Hilliard off Main Street and ends in Plain City. The trailhead in Hilliard features parking, a warm-up area, and bike rack. It is adjacent to the historic district with numerous shops and restaurants. Public art at the trailhead features children at play. 4/17/17
