Part of Your Story 3

JOURNALING: "It was the best of times. It was the worst of times." That explains the relationship. A dichotomy. Other than family, it was the longest lasting relationship in my life, well over thirty years. I suppose it is only natural that something so long-lived would have peaks and valleys, but ours were the highest peaks and the lowest valleys. Many of my worst days were because of this relationship, but, in the end, we could always laugh. And, maybe, that is why it lasted so long. After all, they say laughter IS the best medicine.
