JOURNALING:  The Patricia M. Jurgensen Sculpture Garden at the Columbus Museum of Art (CMOA) is the temporary home to a ‘flock’ of black bird sculptures titled “Birdland”.  The fiberglass and metal stands were created by Ruben Toledo for the renowned interior designer Ralph Pucci who originally used a smaller-scaled version to display jewelry pieces.  These full-sized surrealist sculptures are part of the “Bodies @ Work: The Art of Ruben and Isabel Toledo” exhibition at CMOA, from October 9, 2016-June 17, 2017.    October 30, 2016.
