Hello, fellow scrapbookers! This month I have an easy challenge for you, and it's all about transitions.

April feels like that month when new schedules come in, the weather keeps changing, and we are all adjusting to new things like daylight savings time.

So, this month's challenge is just that -- a TRANSITION TEMPLATE CHALLENGE. Use the free template found below, and document a photo that tells about your transition. It can be the weather, a selfie, or something new in your schedule. Download the template below, and get creative!

As always using Humble & Create products is a BONUS (& could win you a $5 gift to spend in my shop)!

Here's an example of what you could do with this template! Creative Team member Sean (@projectlifeappdude) used my template along with some papers from the Humble & Create Cookout kit to create this homage to warmer weather page--celebrating being able to decorate his backyard shed with a barn quilt!

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Thanks for joining into this month's TRANSITION TEMPLATE CHALLENGE! If you're participating, don't forget the following useful info...
    • To receive credit for completing this challenge, make sure you follow all of the rules/guidelines listed above in this thread.
    • Once you have completed your project... post it in the CHALLENGE GALLERY here at TDP, and then create a post here in this thread and link us to a copy of that gallery item.
    • Your completed project must be posted in this thread by 11:59pm ET on the last day of this month in order to receive credit.
    • Anyone who completes ALL SIX (6) of the challenges at TDP this month will receive 50% OFF ONE ENTIRE PURCHASE any time during the following month.
    • Additionally, anyone who exclusively uses products by the designer hosting each individual challenge (for this one, that would be HUMBLE & CREATE)... will be entered to receive $5 to spend in that designer's shop (so in theory, you could be eligible to win 6 different $5 gifts if you use the correct designer's products in each challenge this month!)
    • Have fun! Let us know if you have any questions about this challenge (you can comment below, and even tag one of us by typing humbleandcreate in your post, if needed!)
Thanks for playing along, and we can't wait to see what you come up with!

While creating this page, I was focused on creating a page that "felt right". It took me 4 days to create it. I was so focused on creating the page, the emotions didn't hit me until I added the last piece which was the quote "Your wings were ready......".

Oh Judy, that is such a sad transition, and I can imagine the moment the emotions hit was hard. It is lovely to think of themwith their wings now! That little wings charm element is so good, and the little scattered hearts too.

I like how you shifted everything to one side. It's the little things like that with templates that make them so versatile!!

I love the washi strips in place of paper/word arts!

Thank you for the template. I am just here for the fun but I hope I got this right. Transition from winter to spring here is just a magical time here

The transition in my layout is my daughter's progression in ballet over the last few months; she's transitioning into more challenging techniques and performance roles. In the winter she was in a "flat corps" (meaning they wore little floppy ballet shoes) and understudied for a pointe corps (where they - ouch! - dance around on the tips of their toes in pointe shoes). This spring she earned her own spot in a pointe corps and even got a solo role (on flat).

OOOOPS, I also forgot to read the challenge fully. I guess my transition is the FIRE from starting out to HOT COALS! Could be the transition from day to night as well.
Thanks for the template and challenge.
