Hi Everyone! Barbara here... and this month, I'm hosting the "Sans Photo Challenge" with Karla Noél!
Kicking off the month of September, we wanted to make this extra challenging. It's time to tuck your photo stashes away and put your lens caps back on.
That's right darlings... NO PHOTOS ALLOWED. Why? Well, per Karla -- "for some time now I have been on that documentation tip. I've been filling up my planners and journals with the story...with words."

"I, as we all, have had so much on my mind, happening and to say. Oftentimes all I have to work with at hand is my trusty pencil and paper. 'And you know what? That's totally okay. I still have my photos safe and building and yet the ease and convenience of my journal right there ready on my table is invaluable. Pictures are worth 1000 words. Cool. No harm in documenting them either
Above is my sketch of the layout I worked on for this challenge. Perfectly Imperfect. Just how I like it."
"I think we all can do this right?"
Here are the details to my SANS PHOTO CHALLENGE:
1.) You may not use any pictures. You may draw/doodle but no actual photos.
2.) You must include a noticeable number. It can not be mixed in with your journaling to count. It has to stand out. Examples would be a sticker or a stamp.
3.) You must include journaling. More than just a sentence or two. Let's say (for the sake of throwing out a number...) 25% or more of journaling.
4.) You must use a frame. It can be dimensional or a stamp frame.
5.) Have fun yo!!!!!
*Below is a FREE optional download for you all to help you with your page/spread. It's not mandatory that you use this kit or any of my designs. (although I kind of dig them myself
) I hope you enjoy! ‘And if you have any questions please tag me Karla Noél

Both Barbara and I got to work on some pages for your inspiration. Hope you find it, we had a blast!
Here is my take on the Sans Photo Challenge:

Kits used: Ledger Papers No.1, Routine, Back At It, Mama Bear, Stamp Essentials No.1, 12 Days of Noél (temporarily unavailable), Custom Other.
All digital designs used are from me, Karla Noél. I wanted to go digi journal with this one. I'm all about that realism so to make it look like my journals at home was what I was going for. I think I made it work ^_^
Then there is Barbara's layout that, once again, made me squeal out loud! Man, she just nails it Every. Single. Time.

Barbara created her page using:
Stamp Essentials No. 1 Freebie (link above!)
Karla Noel Designs and Sabrina Creations: iArt
Karla Noel Designs and Sabrina Creations: Word Stamps
Karla Noel Designs and Anita Designs: Audacity Elements
Karla Noel Designs and Anita Designs: Audacity Stamps
