Separating 24 x 12" template into 12 x 12"

My apologies if this has been answered before. I tried searching but couldn't come up with the right search criteria.

I purchased a set of 24 x 12 double-page templates in .psd. Is there an easy way to cut them and save them as 12 x 12 templates in PSE? I know how to crop them, but it's so tedious! Is there an action available for this?

Hmm, I am not aware of an action that would do this, apart from to crop them (if they are only provided as double page spreads) - but I have to admit that I have never really looked into it before!
