Your gift that keeps on giving/being given.
Totally made me laugh out loud.
I can relate.

Doing anything for Valentine's Day?

I am so cheap, I wait for the valentine's day goodies to go on sale 50% and then buy what DD and I fancied since it was unpacked in store.
I mentioned to Hubby that I was available if he wanted to do something and he said ok, but knowing him, no additional thought or bookings have been made.
I love to add something special to the table for brekkie or dinner, but with 2/3 of the children living away now - I might wait until the weekend for my efforts.

After Valentine's and Easter I buy Peeps on sale .... we like to let them go a little stale, because then they're perfect for roasting over a spring campfire (they don't fall off the marshmallow forks as easily!).

so we have a similar issue with gluten, but have found a couple of premade naked crusts in the freezer section that work well. Perhaps one of those could be defrosted slightly and trimmed into a heart shape?

Staying home and eating favorite foods sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate! Happy Anniversary!!

Ah, at this point, Jennifer ( gwany1999 ), I have not made my own oils since my still is not yet complete (it's come a long way though considering it arrived as individual pieces of metal and "some fabrication required". One of the pieces that I'll be getting, apparently, for Valentine's Day is a valve that will permit affixing the appropriate vessel for capturing essential oils. I don't know much about essential oils, except for which ones I like to use when I make soap. My local library offers access to an online class called Essential Oils 101. I'm thinking that I should check it out.... otherwise I'm learning as I go.

Thanks ladies! (and the best part ... we're still madly in love!)

No real plans here. I'm not a fan of Valentine's Day. DH knows if he wants to impress me, bring me a rose from the gas station on some random day of the year. I do get the kinds and grandkids some candy, but except for the one I have left at home, the rest I won't see until the weekend. That means, I can go out the day after and get everything half off!!

Nothing fancy here either. I did prepare a surprise gift for hubby and I hope he will like it. I think he will. Maybe a dinner but no plans yet.
What ever you all guys have planned or not I hope it's filled with love.
