  • DSD GAME | Bad Beatles Song

Hello again and Happy DSD Sunday from me, Stefanie! I tend to be a silent scrapbooker, having no music or anything on as background noise because I am so easily triggered and will burst into song at the slightest provocation. Not only that, I am prone to music worms where I have the same song on playback running through my mind for the entire day! It doesn't matter whether I know the words or not, I will just sing regardless. It drives my family nuts.

To take part in this game I need participants to "tweak" a Beatles song title (and/or song lyric) in order to ruin it.
Examples include: "Help, I kneed somebody" or "I wanna mold your hand" or "She loves you...why? why? why?"
Let out your inner punster and get creative.

    Rules:
Please comment in this thread with your ruined Beatles's Song title or lyric.
Each entry gives you a chance to win.
Deadline is 11:59pm PT on Wed 10/11

Prize: Anyone who participates in this game throughout our week-long DSD celebration will be entered to win $5 to spend in --Calista's Stuff-- in the form of a coupon code!

True story - I am partially deaf in both ears and have a super hard time with clarity - meaning when I do hear the words, I still can't understand them. It drove my family nuts before I got my hearing aids because I would swear they said things like "the bear ate your pie?" when they said "oh look at the sky." So for YEARS, I was singing "Everybody's Got Something to BUY." It never made sense to me until someone told me it was "Everybody's Got Something to HIDE!". It was a light bulb moment for sure

I do that to my kids, Robin, just repeat what I think I hear when they mumble at me. It's usually good for a laugh or two.
