HAVING FORUM REGISTRATION TROUBLES?

Oh no!

In the past few days, we have received reports from a few different people that they did NOT ever receive their e-mail confirmation when they registered here in the TDP forum.
Meanwhile, a few other people HAVE received these automatically-generated e-mails. It's all very mysterious and weird.


Because the instances of people NOT receiving them (and thus, not being able to confirm their subscription and start participating in forum threads) seems to actually be a "not-quite-widespread-but-worrysome-nonetheless" thing... we wanted to offer up a quick workaround, if you're experiencing this particular trouble.


THE WORKAROUND...
If you registered here in the TDP forum... and have NOT yet received your confirmation e-mail... and you've checked your SPAM folder and it's not there, either... please do the following:

• USE OUR SITE'S CONTACT FORM TO SEND US A NOTE
• Include your first name... your e-mail address... the SUBJECT LINE of "FORUM REGISTRATION TROUBLES!" ...and include the username you registered in the forum within the body of your message.
• We will manually push your registration through once we receive this info, thereby bypassing the "e-mail confirmation link" requirement, so you can get busy in the forum!

Meanwhile, we're looking into the issue to see what might be causing some people not to receive these messages (whether it's an internet service provider thing, or a site settings thing, or something else entirely. We'll work to get to the bottom of it!).
